Determines a course of action based on guidelines.ResponsibilitiesRequirements & SupportIdentifies, validates and documents customers' order requirements based on the general technical knowledge of the Data CentersMay be assigned to manage simple to mid-level customer deploymentsProject PlanningSupports & develops project implementation plans/task lists for customer deployments through collaboration with cross-functional teams (such as Sales, Client Services and Data Center Operations), working with information and guidance from more senior team members on project tasks and activitiesCustomer Order: Project Implementation and DeliverySupports such as on a piece of a larger project as assignedSchedules implementation meetings with customers and cross-functional groupsMonitors and ensures the timely closure of Operations activities with accurate information into Equinix business systems (i.e. Siebel fulfillment)Cross Functional, Customer Support & Customer CommunicationsInvestigates and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues during project implementationSupport to liaison with customers to facilitate smooth service delivery and ensure provisioned services meet and exceed customers' expectationsServes as customers' point of contact for any escalation of issues during project implementationHandles the escalations, investigates and provides resolution to the issues with close guidance from senior team members/managerCommunicates with customers, own team and cross-functional groups on project plans and implementation progress for small to medium scale projectProcess Support/OptimizationReviews basic business and/or technical processes (e.g. provisioning lead time, effectivity) within the Data Center and identifies opportunities for process improvementsSystems SupportProvides basic system support for Data Center Operations systems such as Siebel Fulfillment, working with Regional Operations at the direction of more senior team membersData Support/AnalysisEnsures Operations provisioning data is accurately input into Equinix business systemsCollaborates with own team and/or Regional Operations to investigate and perform physical audit tasksVendor SupportEngages and works with Operations Support to manage and engage third party vendors and suppliers for services and materialsQualifications3+ years experience in a Data Center environment preferredBachelor's degree in IT / Engineering / related fields preferredEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
