You will be part of the Services and Infrastructure Finance team and lead a team focused on supporting the dynamic and rapidly evolving Services Engineering organization. The job will entail close partnership with various business and functional teams, and will require mastering various financial tasks such as reporting, analysis, forecasting, and influencing business partners.
We are looking for a finance leader with a strong executive presence, deep analytical capabilities, ample financial / quantitative horsepower, interest in Apple’s business and strategy, polished communication skills, and a “player-coach” attitude with an ability to build high-performing teams. This leader shall partner with and influence various groups, handle confidential information, and carry a very high level of responsibility and exposure. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 10-15 years of progressive, relevant experience in a high performance and high growth organization, preferably supporting engineering teams across international markets Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills Natural curiosity to identify continuous improvement opportunities Highly articulate in both verbal and written communication Passion for leading, developing and motivating an experienced team Ability to partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization in order to influence across multiple seniority levels in a highly matrixed organization Composed executive presence, balancing confidence with humility Experience in developing valuations of several large-scale initiatives simultaneously Description Description Lead and develop a seasoned team of financial analysts along with a sales operations team
Own the financial management for the Apple Services Engineering organization as well as Claris International
Act as key financial and business advisor to senior organization leaders by providing actionable insights
Develop valuation models to assess new features and product offerings
Identify and drive cost saving and efficiency opportunities across all spending areas
Work with engineering to optimize data center and third-party cloud infrastructure investments
Drive critical Finance processes and review cadence, including leading the recurring forecasts and annual plan deliverables in partnership with Corporate FP&A
Collaborate with counterparts on strategic projects as part of larger cross-functional teams
Form a strong controls environment to ensure compliance against regulatory requirements and to internal guidelines, policies, and procedures Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or other quantitative field. MBA with a concentration in Finance is desirable Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,400 and $311,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
