Knowledge of USB/Thunderbolt/PCIe protocols iOS/macOS Application development experience using Xcode Description Description Apple is looking for hardworking and enthusiastic interns to work on product system integrated tests as well as innovative projects, technologies and initiatives. In this position, you will have an opportunity to work with a very hardworking team on Apple silicon validation for USB/Thunderbolt/PCIe interface and automation tools development with an emphasis on hardware-centric software risks for new and existing macOS/iOS products.
The ideal candidate is passionate about Apple products, technologies and is open to the possibility of being pushed outside of their comfort zone. To be successful in this position, you must be able to show initiative, learn new technologies quickly, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should be dedicated and prepared to work independently. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to design and complete integrated system test in upcoming hardware and software releases, or develop innovative tools to improve system test efficiency.
- Design and complete silicon validation for USB/Thunderbolt/PCIe interfaces.
- Develop automation tools and image recognition models base on automation framework.
- Identify, reproduce, isolate, and document issues found, and see issues to closure.
- Collaborate with developer and multi-functional teams to followup and drive issue fix.
- Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and annotation for datasets training. Education & Experience Education & Experience Currently enrolled in a BS/MS program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields. Can work full-time for a minimum of 3 months between Fall 2023 and Summer 2024.
