Apple’s G&A Finance team is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Financial Analyst to oversee Community Investment (Corporate Donations & Employee Giving program), as well as support critical company-wide initiatives, such as Apple 2030. This individual will get a chance to partner with key finance and business teams across Apple via Apple’s donation programs, such as helping to provide educational support to underserved communities, and be a key partner in Apple’s goal to be carbon neutral across its supply chain and products by 2030. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Hands on financial experience performing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills; with ability to communicate effectively to finance teams and business teams Able to build consensus and partner with cross functional teams Strong project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities High level of proficiency with Excel and Keynote Experience with enterprise software systems and databases (e.g., Business Objects, SAP, Tableau, and Adaptive Insights) Description Description - Responsible for forecasting and managing Apple’s Donations & Employee Giving spend, as well as headcount management for the Community Investment team
- Work closely with key stakeholders in the Community Investment team and across Apple to provide reporting, KPIs, and execution for Corporate Donation programs, the Employee Giving program, and Apple 2030 initiative
- Develop analytics and other ad hoc reporting that provide meaningful insights on program performance (e.g., Tableau integration of Adaptive Insights, Workday, and SAP)
- Track, analyze, and concisely present to finance and business leadership financial insights and progress on Community Investment and Apple 2030 initiatives
- Develop annual plan and monthly forecasts in line with corporate planning and forecasting guidelines
- Provide reports to enable business partners to manage budget and headcount in accordance with annual plan
- Manage accruals for quarterly close, review accruals to ensure correct accounting treatment, and requesting journal entries when necessary Education & Experience Education & Experience BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or Economics Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,300 and $197,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
