We’re looking for a Lead Strategic Space Planner – a dynamic team lead that will be dedicated to leading the strategic planning of Apple’s Santa Clara Valley real estate portfolio across multiple owned and leased properties and the business needs of multiple Apple teams. You will assist them in their current space planning needs as well as strategically plan their future locations and migrations. In this role, you’ll be tasked with being the primary point of contact to business units for their space planning and space management needs including workplaces and labs as well as sitewide amenity space needs, proactively seeking new methods to streamline the delivery of RE&D’s services, creating the short, long-term occupancy, utilization strategies, supporting executive level reporting, analytics and strategic real estate portfolio decisions. You will work cross functionally with real estate, construction management, and facilities teams to deliver world class customer support to our Apple teams. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and proactive thinker who can think strategically and stay connected to our customers. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 12+ years’ space planning, occupancy planning or related experience Leadership skills Excellent analytical and data analysis skills Excellent communication & presentation skills (both written and verbal) Detail oriented Prior space management, facility management or project management experience Proven experience in a client relationship management role Familiarity and experience with CAFM/IWMS systems Experience with Excel, Keynote and Numbers Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and handling high-profile client relationships. Description Description You will manage key client relationships, assist & coordinate stakeholder needs with RE&D service groups You will be the lead planner for this market, also coordinating the additional internal and external resources You will develop Market Strategy Plans (both strategic & tactical/detailed level) specifically related to post-new-campus migrations and portfolio backfill/projects Develop and define space needs, migration strategies, project justifications Support business units to track existing and future headcount needs and keep our space planning systems and data current You will be a key resource for internal RE&D and external business unit stakeholders and will improve service delivery workflows Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in related field Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,300 and $197,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
