Apple is looking for an extraordinary Optical Simulation and Analysis Intern with optical thin film or coating experience to join the PPO (Panel Process and Optics) Engineering Intern Program in Yokohama Technology Center (YTC) of Apple Japan.
Internship program is available to start any time from December 1st, 2023 and needs to be completed by September 30th, 2024. Specific start time, number of days, how many days per week - will be flexibly configured considering selected intern's availability and preference. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Familiarity with nano structured material optical simulation using FDTD and RCWA software such as Lumerical and VirtualLab Familiarity with optical measurement for nano-fabricated gratings, waveguides, lenses, or prisms using nano-imprint or semiconductor process. Valid work permit (status) to be able to do full-time or part-time work in Japan. Fluent communication skill using Japanese Description Description A successful candidate will help analysis and simulation method establishment for nanostructured material that is the one of foundations for Apple products.
You will work within a multi-functional team to realize advanced technologies, with an emphasis on material integration and process engineering for 3D optical components.
