We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be working with our editorial and analytics teams to build the tools that power Apple News. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience crafting, implementing, and scaling Web services in Java and Spring. Experience with NoSQL data stores such as Cassandra and Solr. Familiarity with GIT, Jenkins, CICD Experience with JavaScript, jQuery. You are a standout teammate, willing to take responsibility and ownership of product. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Experience with JavaScript Frameworks will be plus. e.g., Ember / Angular / React. Description Description Apple’s News team is seeking a high-energy Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team working on the tools that we use internally to power Apple News. As a member of our dynamic group, you'll have the extraordinary and rewarding opportunity to craft upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple's customers every single day. The ideal candidate has experience with Java and Ember.js, has a keen eye for usability, and thrives on improving the design and architecture of a large system. Education & Experience Education & Experience We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $116,100 and $208,300 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
