This role is a combination of conceptualization, prototyping, and design with the goal of building innovative ML-based solutions that will appear in several Apple products. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Proficient in Python Demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to build effective and engaging user interfaces Experience building products from conception to design and implementation Experience with end-to-end machine learning workflows (data collection, annotation, training, and QA) Experience developing on mobile or embedded platforms Experience with C++, Swift, and/or Objective C Description Description We are looking for individuals with interests in vision and audio (in isolation and in concert with other sensor systems) to bring new ML-based solutions to market. As a leader on this team, you will use your background to: - Apply due diligence and strategic research to guide internal product development - Build proof-of-concept ML solutions that create compelling user experiences - Build showcase demos and proofs-of-concept to highlight novel ML solutions to internal Apple teams - Design and implement software architectures that simplify ML processing pipelines - Ship solutions that make their way to an Apple product Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $210,900 and $316,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
