The Factory Build Readiness System Quality Assurance Team is seeking a driven, dynamic, and skilled intern with strong capabilities in software engineering, software or system testing, test automation, and web development. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Ability to quickly pick up new knowledge and concepts, and develop innovative solutions Knowledge of software development life cycle and experience contributing to a mature software engineering project at all phases Demonstrated programming and scripting skills (Python preferred, Objective-C, Swift, C/C++ optional) Web development experience (HTML5, CSS, Javascript) Experience working in a Linux, Unix, or MacOS environment Proficient in English HELPFUL, BUT NOT A MUST: - Experience authoring, executing, and automating unit testing - Knowledge of test-driven development - Experience setting up and maintaining continuous integration systems - Knowledge of container-orchestration(Docker, Kube) and cloud concepts(AWS) - Knowledge of databases(PostgreSQL) - Experience with or knowledge of Tableau Description Description As an intern, you will work on real challenges the team faces as well as upcoming products. To be successful in this position, you have a strong technical foundation, are able to learn new technologies quickly, show initiative, and possess excellent communication skills. You must be motivated and prepared to work independently.
You'll work with system quality assurance engineers to automate validation of test processes used on hardware that will be used at iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch factories. This may include authoring tools or frameworks that are used to implement system level testing. In doing so, you have the ability to impact the efficiency of the team and help deliver products to customers.
Your contributions will help ensure that our devices are free of defects when manufactured and shipped or sold to customers.
