The Inclusion and Localization Producer is experienced in localization program management, possesses deep understanding of localization technologies and skilled in vendor management to deliver outstanding experience. The ideal candidate should have a deep passion for providing Inclusion and Localization Services. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 4-7+ years of proven experience in localization program management working on production delivery workflows Comfort with tight-schedules, ambiguity in rapidly-evolving production environment Excellent understanding of internationalization and localization software and platforms Familiar with caption file formats such as VTT, SRT, and ITT Understanding of basic security protocols around handling ultra-confidential assets Excellent written and verbal communication skills with global partners and navigate within a corporate structure. Ability to conform, edit, retime, convert, render, and QC caption files and content Knowledge of machine translation and technology-driven solutions and industry evolution Experience in caption editing and quality control workflows a plus Description Description This role drives the localization and inclusion roadmap for keynote events, focusing on optimizing workflow, leading schedules and communication chains for all accessibility and localization assets. Plan, iterate and implement Inclusion Services Program for Apple keynote events: captions, audio description, language interpretation including ASL and assistive listening devices. Cultivate excellent vendor relationships, exploring new options and features; e.g. voice writing for captions. Guide thoughtful service integration for in-room and broadcast experiences, captions post production, etc. Act as a liaison between the project teams and upper level management. Partner with I&D and other key groups at Apple to improve localization and inclusion services in innovative ways that fit with Apple’s aesthetic and technologies. Associate producer backfill and special projects, workload permitting. Maintain continuity and consistency in production workflow for each event. Ensure all vendors are adhering to Apple’s procurement policies and maintain the highest degrees of confidentiality and security. Develop and actively handle vendor and freelance relationships to ensure the best available talent and pricing. Ensure adherence to standard methodologies and communicate expectations to all contributors. Develop and oversee ASL recordings from pre-production through post, while leveraging best practices in video production and internal assets. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,700 and $166,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
