They guide, align and communicate team decisions, mitigate risks, and drive technical issues to resolution.What You’ll Do:As an engineering program manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the multifunctional hardware development team bringing new products to market.Work closely with project hardware leaders, (Audio, Design, EE/RF, ME, Test and Compliance, Manufacturing and Product Management) to ensure cross functional alignment.Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure project requirements are understood and implemented. Keep the team on track, which means ensuring they are developing the right product, within all the established program boundaries (features, cost, schedule, quality, etc.)Communicate when the program boundaries are violated, and then work diligently with the team to reconcile.Responsible for regular reporting on the status of your program, and ensuring that the team is fully aligned with the current direction and goals.What You’ll Need:Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. If you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.Basic Qualifications:3+ years experience in consumer hardware product developmentDemonstrated success coordinating multi-disciplinary technical development teamsExperience driving products into high-volume mass production with Asian contract manufacturersDeep knowledge of hardware development best practices in two or more of the following areas: Digital and analog electronics, radio and antenna design, mechanical engineering, transducer and acoustic system engineering, and industrial designWillingness to travel within the US and Asia (sometimes with little notice) based on need in the product development cycle.Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
