Summary: The Director of Customer & Partner Experience (CPX) Insights is a visionary leader passionate about leveraging data strategically to drive business impact. Managing a global team of high-performing Business Analysts, this leader delivers mission-critical insights and customer stories to enhance CPX and Workiva's future. The CPX Insights team collaborates across functions, accelerating business strategies and setting the benchmark for customer intelligence.Responsibilities:Lead a globally integrated team of Business Analysts to deliver critical customer & partner insights for CPX and Workiva.Develop and implement the analytics & insights strategy for CPX Operations.Oversee the development, delivery, and maintenance of high-quality data, analytics, and reporting products.Proactively engage and partner with key stakeholders across regions to deliver key insights and analytical capabilities.Accelerate CPX thought leadership and customer value realization.Enable CPX functions and regions with actionable insights, analytics, and reporting capabilities.Elevate functional & technical skills across the CPX Insights team.Collaborate on cross-functional efforts and strategic initiatives.Lead and/or engage in key strategic projects.Actively partner with centralized Enterprise Data Management efforts to establish core data & analytics capabilities.Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration within the CPX Insights team and across Workiva.Engage as a senior member of the CPX Operations team to enhance strategies and drive operational excellence.Stay informed on the latest trends in data analytics and customer insights.Coach and nurture a high-performing, collaborative team.Lead with empathy, trust, and transparency.Minimum Qualifications:10+ years experience in business intelligence, customer insights, and/or analytics engineering or related field5+ years of direct management experience and cross functional leadership experience Bachelor’s degreePreferred Qualifications:MBA or Masters in Data Science/Analytics preferredExperience building high-performing data & analytics/insights teams in globally-integrated organizationStrong business acumen and understanding of Customer Success, Technical Support, Client Services, and Partnerships / Alliances functions.Familiarity with the customer journey, CX metrics, and key analyses & customer feedback programs.Experience with customer lifecycle measurements, health scoring, and upsell/cross-sell models in a multi-product enterprise software environment.Familiarity with statistical analysis, scripting, and modeling tools (e.g., Python and/or R).Familiarity with data transformation/integration tools and BI tools (e.g., DBT, Quicksight, Looker, Power BI, Tableau).Understanding of statistical testing methods (e.g., A/B, Hypothesis, Multivariate, User Acceptance) and best practices in gathering / analyzing large amounts of customer dataPrevious experience with Gainsight modeling and self-serve reporting tools Demonstrated ability to lead, prioritize, and enhance reporting/analytics products using Agile Development and Product Management methodologies.Strong ability to “tell the story” behind the data.Strong verbal/written communication & presentation skills.Telecommuting Requirements:Fully remote position with 25-40% travel required.US preferred with occasional need to access local Workiva offices.Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.How You’ll Be Rewarded:Salary range in the US: $193,000.00 - $328,000.00A discretionary bonus typically paid annuallyRestricted Stock Units granted at time of hire401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
