Our innovation springs from a team of individuals, each collaborating and contributing their own perspectives, knowledge, and experience to advance the way the world works and lives.We are looking for visionaries, like you, who are ready to make a purposeful impact on the way the world works.At HP, the future is yours to create!Responsibilities:If you are our R&D Hardware Design Engineer in India, you will have a chance to• Work independently with R&D partners to understand requirements• Derive system solution objectives and architecture from the partner requirements• Lead a multi-functional project team• Design system architecture which includes Hardware, Firmware & Software• Analyze design and determine the coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of the overall architecture of product or solution• Create and execute of test plans, protocols, and documentation• Lead/Be Part of a project team of other systems engineers (HW, FW & SW) and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective and high-quality solutions• Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution• Provide guidance and mentoring to team membersKnowledge and Skills:Essential Requirement:• Extensive knowledge of Verilog and System Verilog• Extensive knowledge in Lattice/Altera/Xilinx FPGA and tools• Extensive knowledge in Digital circuit design, FPGA related hardware designs, and high-speed interface circuits.Good to have,• Knowledge in board-level Analog and mixed-signal circuit designs• Knowledge of Timing Closure Analysis, simulation tools• Working knowledge in Embedded C for Firmware development is an added advantageComplexity• Moderate: Some senior management interface; frequent cross-functional/cross-organizational interaction on execution of tactics• Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project.• Leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.Education & Experience• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical.
