Our innovation springs from a team of individuals, each collaborating and contributing their own perspectives, knowledge, and experience to advance the way the world works and lives.We are looking for visionaries, like you, who are ready to make a purposeful impact on the way the world works.At HP, the future is yours to create!Responsibilities:• Work independently with R&D partners to understand requirements• Derive system solution objectives and architecture from the partner requirements• Lead a multi-functional project team• Design system architecture which includes Hardware, Firmware & Software• Analyze design and determine the coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of the overall architecture of product or solution• Create and execute of test plans, protocols, and documentation• Lead/Be Part of a project team of other systems engineers (HW, FW & SW) and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective and high-quality solutions• Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution• Provide guidance and mentoring to team membersKnowledge & SkillsEssential requirements,Strong technical knowledge on embedded systems and embedded software developmentProficiency in C and C++Knowledge on RTOSKnowledge of debugging tools such as JTAG, GDB.Knowledge of Git source code versioning systemStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication skillsGood to have,Working knowledge of Zephyr RTOSKnowledge of Microcontroller architectures (ARM)Knowledge on scripting using Python.Build system using CMake.Complexity• Moderate: Some senior management interface; frequent cross-functional/cross-organizational interaction on execution of tactics• Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives.
