Job Responsibilities :
DevOps Implementation: Champion and implement infrastructure optimizations, continuous deployment, and monitoring to ensure operational efficiency.
Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify issues, improve performance, and maintain system health.
Develop Scripts and tools to automate deployments, and to collect metrics.
Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest DevOps trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend suitable solutions to enhance development processes.
Incident Management: Participate in incident response and resolution, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
Security Best Practices: Collaborate with the security team to integrate security practices into the development process and ensure compliance with security standards.
Code Reviews and Technical Mentoring: Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor other team members to improve code quality and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience (8+ years) with strong knowledge of DevOps principles.
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure services.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Bash.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, such as Jenkins.
Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, including cluster deployment, scaling, and management.
Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, security, and storage concepts.
Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools such as Helm, Istio, and Prometheus.
Ability to troubleshoot Kubernetes issues and optimize performance.
Understanding of infrastructure as code(IaC)tools, such as Terraform ,ARM or CloudFormation.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
Good understanding of networking and security concepts.
Good understanding of Linux, command line utilities, and filesystem management.
Good Understanding of Java, microservices architecture and distributed data streaming system like kafka is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, problem solving skills, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to working in teams.
