Job Requisition ID #23WD73381Position OverviewThe Autodesk Employee Communications team is on a mission to inform, inspire and enable Autodesk employees worldwide. We are passionate storytellers and advocates for our company culture, and as part of the global communications team, we are responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing strategies and campaigns to improve communications and engagement with employees.ResponsibilitiesAs the leader of the employee communications team, you will:Develop and carry out a communications strategy that drives alignment with the overall company strategy and priorities and focuses on engaging employees across AutodeskDevelop and implement employee communication programs, leveraging digital channels, town hall meetings, and creating new channels to better reach employeesUse data-driven decision making to evolve Autodesk’s internal editorial content strategyActivate and engage employees in our flagship event and experiences, evolving our internal community of brand ambassadorsPartner and collaborate with sr. leadership, internal stakeholders, and communications professionals across the company to ensure that employee communications are consistent, effectively distributed and amplified across the organizationPartner with Autodesk’s Executive Communications team in their development of the Chief People Officer’s internal and external thought leadership strategyLead a global team including direct reports and dotted line team membersMinimum Qualifications10+ years or equivalent of relevant work experience in communications for globally distributed organizationsA proven track record in developing and executing strategic communications plans and leading a team of communicators to achieve strategic objectivesExceptional writer, copy editor and coach with the skill to distill complex content into clear and engaging people-centered communicationsA strategic and creative thinker comfortable debating and defending your ideasA strong storyteller with the ability to create compelling narratives in support of our business strategiesAdept and building trust and all levelsPossess the ability to influence across functions, geographies and levels, and the ability to work with various stakeholders and teams to drive alignment and collaborationStrong attention to detail with a strategic mindsetSkilled in PowerPoint and other elements of the Microsoft Office Suite; you can build your own presentations without heavy reliance on internal or external design supportStrong executive presence when presenting to senior leadership and team membersExperience using internal communications platforms like Slack, Zoom, Outlook, SharepointCapable of driving results both independently and in collaboration with othersManage workload, be flexible and proactive, multitask, work under deadlines, and ensure quality and accuracyExperience with executive (internal + external) communicationsPreferred QualificationsProficient in Mandarin, Japanese and/or GermanA people-person with excellent presentation skills and presenceStrong organizational skills and business acumenInnovative self-starter and enable that mindset in the teams you lead#LI-GC1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $164,700 and $266,530. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
