We focus on technologies and capabilities that enable customers to achieve possibilities and potential sooner.Position OverviewAs the Research Collaborations Manager, you will be responsible for assessing a diverse group of industry leaders in our Resident Network to promote collaboration and engagement with Autodesk Research. The position will be based in Boston, MA. The Resident Network is a select group of industry, academic, and entrepreneurial teams forging paths to improve the future of their industries within the Autodesk Technology Centers. You will play a key role in maintaining relationships with residents, facilitating knowledge sharing, and supporting the influence of our Resident Network among Autodesk stakeholders. You will report to the Manager of the Research Network, also based in Boston.You will work on-site.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and identify residents that align with the organization's research goals and objectives, identify areas of growth and innovation.Work with the Research Network team to develop and implement a collaboration strategy for the Resident Network, including identifying target industries or research areas and establishing criteria for selecting residents that align with Research's prioritiesProvide effective communication and knowledge sharing through custom programming for Autodesk Research teams and residentsFacilitate workshops, panels, and document results, sharing results through presentations and/or reports with stakeholdersDocument resident work for storytelling/facilitate engagement with ResearchBe a catalyst between the Resident Network and internal teams to shape collaborations and relationshipsIdentify emerging trends, technologies, or research areas, and proactively seek opportunities for cross-industry collaborations and knowledge exchangeConduct regular check-ins with key residents, managing communication platforms, and tracking progress and outcomes of collaborationsEngage with Research teams and relevant subject matter experts to stay informed and keep stakeholders up to dateLead Technology Center Tours for key relationshipsMinimum Qualifications5-7 years of industry experience in manufacturing, architecture, engineering, or constructionProject management or Strategic planningRelationship ManagementExperience fostering collaboration with a diverse network of industry teamsFamiliarity with design to make workflows and fabrication equipmentFacilitation skills and ability to summarize resultsExperience generating reports for key stakeholdersLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $82,900 and $143,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
