The primary responsibility is effectively coordinating all parties involved and offer assistance as required in relation to EHS activities. Provide administrative assistance, there will be a requirement to take ownership of key duties on an ad-hoc basis to help deliver a best-in-class EH&S function. Primary ownership of non-technical EHS programs with potential for additional responsibility and growth by working closely with and learning from subject matter experts. All About YouResponsibilities:Execute chemical approval process through project (Alice) for AMR region. Influence process improvements and efficiencies. Non-technical program management including, Emergency Sweep Team, PACE Response and i-metrics follow up, Protective Footwear and Eyewear, Calibration of EHS equipment, First Aid Supply, Technical Training coordination, EHS mailbox monitoring, Equipment onboarding and move forms, Medical Record Management, EHS committee and team meeting support.Support employee wellness and prevention for injury/illness care and return to work processes.  Managing EH&S financial and administrative requirements including Purchase Order/Invoice reconciliation, working closely with Manager on budget and real time spend tracking. Liaising with key internal customers and vendors – monitoring, providing support,Coordinating general health and safety arrangements across site.Support incentive programs where applicable.Main point of contact to arrange San Diego site and AMR regional meetings (room reservation, set-up, food services; etc.)Managing, tracking, and updating EH&S records/documentation. Presentations to internal customers and EHS team as required. Production and distribution of EH&S Metrics/reports. Coordinating all instructor led EH&S training and assist in coordination of regional meetings and events. Promoting and supporting the health, safety, environment, and sustainability culture.Working closely with internal customers and team members to resolve EH&S policy/EH&S legislative queries.Lead local Safety and Sustainability Campaigns. Occasional regional travel may be required.Requirements:Sound knowledge, understanding, or high interest of Health, Safety, Environmental field.Experience of administration in a regulated/scientific environment advantageous. Experience in system admin, auditing, risk assessments, and implementing and maintaining Health & Safety systems. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Used to working in a fast-paced environment with high contact points with internal partners. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
