Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. May be client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and Outsourcing functions. May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs and other related duties may be assigned.Responsibilities:Handle support/work requests and problem tickets with JIRA, ServiceNow, and follow up on requests, and escalate/track critical issues.Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies and processes that can add value to our business partners and our support team.Help maintain the integrity, performance, security, and availability of validated data science application platforms and environments which includes configuring, upgrading, patching, performance analysis and tuning, monitoring, and business processes.Establish, update, and maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and policies.Work with specifications to implement and maintain high availability application services to provide users with the tools and data needed to do their jobs more effectively.Work with cross-site and cross-functional teams within IT and Security teams to collaborate, develop, refine operational processes and procedures. Will be responsible to installs acceleration and monitoring tools for new and existing applications.Participate in performing RCA (root cause analysis) by providing analysis information, identifying preventative actions that can be taken, and updating/implementing alerts and monitoring that proactively identify items to prevent problem recurrence.Participate in an on-call rotation (every 4 weeks).
