That’s why we’re a leader in next-generation cybersecurity.The Role The Security Solutions Engineer is an information security expert responsible for assessing and improving the security posture of customer environments.The Security Solutions Engineer manages the technical aspects of customer systems and is primarily responsible for solution uptime, availability, policy development and problem troubleshooting. Security Solutions Engineers are also responsible for the technical development of various clients’ security solutions such as: Proofpoint Protection Server, TAP, TRAP, and other Proofpoint products.We are open to any locations in Australia for this role.Your day-to-day Serve as an escalation point for other engineers on the teamOptimize security policies to protect against emerging threats and adhere to industry best practicesCreate and develop custom solutions for managed security systemsMaximize system uptime, availability, and performanceUtilize internal CRM for problem tracking and project developmentAssist the team in meeting all customer SLAsUnsurpassed attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issuesMaintain awareness of industry trends, security news, and best practicesTake on-call rotation after hours and on weekends, serving as a point of escalation as necessaryProvide flexibility with schedule to cover job requirementsAbility to quickly and efficiently resolve client issues while maintaining high levels of client satisfactionLead technical discussions with customers and partnering organizationsResearch and analyze industry trends and security vulnerabilities, in order to effectively communicate to customers any risk to their environments and implement solutions to mitigate the riskAdminister and support lab environment to include change request review and approval, maintenance, and designJob RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
