Technical Writer Design SystemDescription -The Design System team is an interdisciplinary group working together to elevate the experience of the products across HP. The team is looking for a Technical Writer to maintain the website and documentation of the design system (processes, patterns, components, etc) in a multi-platform environment that enables teams to build their products as efficiently as possible.  An updated portfolio is required for consideration.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch, design, illustrate, write, revise, and edit high quality and user-friendly documentation about the design system for designers, developers and other end-users interested in the design systemWrite with accessibility in mind using plain English, and keeping clearly written linksWork closely with designers and developers to understand the design system and translate it into written documentation for themWork with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressedWork with the designers and developers to make sure both teams understand HOW a solution will be developedContributing to our team and culture through collaboration, proposing improvements, and sharing feedbackQualificationsMaster degree in Science in Technology, Art, Writing, or other UX related field1+ years technical writer experience1+ years documenting software applicationsExperience with design systems Technical backgroundExcellent organization skills Ability to communicate to all levels of users (internal and external), strong problem-solving skills, adaptable, proactive, willing to take ownership and to manage ambiguityJob -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
