Team and Role: As an intern you will be part of Equinix’s Global Sustainability Program Office (SPO) team. The SPO team in Amsterdam is responsible for developing the regional sustainability strategy with an emphasis on environmental and social impact and accelerating Equinix’s progress on our 2030 global climate-neutral commitment. The role of the intern will be focused on supporting the local SPO team, which is divers and touches upon many business areas. Assignments and Responsibilities: Apart from general support to the regional SPO office, you will be able to work on projects assessing regulatory impact as well as driving development of messaging around Equinix’s Sustainability position and leadership in the industry. You will also be able to have meaningful impact across the business to build a better understanding of Sustainability at Equinix. You will have the opportunity to build on demonstrating sustainability impact for our customers and be involved in the development of sustainability trainings for our sales force. Why Join Equinix? Who You Are (Requirements and Qualifications): Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college (Bachelor’s or Master’s undergraduate) Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between July to September, depending on your school system) . Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English . Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new tools (that will help you to improve .
