Financial Planning and Analysis Intern

Financial Planning and Analysis InternFunction, Team and Role: FP&A, Financial Planning and Analysis. The core of that is budgeting and forecasting items like Revenue, Costs, Bookings, Churn and Key Performance Indicators like cross connects, cabinets and other drivers of the business. We do a lot of reporting to add insights as to the health and state of the business by measuring variances against forecast and against trend. The ideal candidates will be good at Math, knowledge of Finance, analytical skills to help find cause and effect, using Microsoft Excel is a daily tool for this team, Power Point is helpful Project Description:  Numerous projects or fundamental pieces of FP&A. More than likely: analyzing bookings and churn data for accuracy in reporting of this key driver for our business. Reviewing consumption and cost per unit data for our power usage by IBX or data center to identify trends. Requirements and Responsibilities: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a requirement for this role.
