Business Performance Analyst

eBay, Inc. seeks Business Performance Analyst in San Jose, CAJob Duties: Collect, organize and perform deep dive analytics into Volume, Revenue, and Buyer/Seller metrics to identify trends and drive actions. Document and communicate business performance data points, risks, and recommendations enabling the business to take action promptly. Maintain and develop new, more efficient data collection methods and deep dive analytical tools that will help dissect performance quicker as well as drive best practices and frameworks for driving growth and profitability. Build ad hoc & strategic analyses across functional efforts to support business objectives. Collaborate with multiple analytics teams to develop new algorithmic functions to optimize machine learning functions, test and validate findings, and manage their implementation into current systems. Responsible for optimizing performance reporting structure and repeatable process.  Create data visualization tables and performance forecast and targeting reports for business cases through scenario modeling.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, analyst, or a related occupation.Special Skill Requirements: 1.    SQL2.    A/B Testing3.    Python4.    Machine Learning5.    Tableau6.    Dashboarding7.    Reporting8.    Root Cause Analysis9.    MS ExcelBase salary: $170,186 - 234,850 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.  Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
